Hakim Ziyech is asking for €4.5m a year to leave Chelsea this summer and has recently been ‘offered’ to Besiktas.

That’s according to journalist Gökmen Özcan, who says there is a possibility Ziyech will leave Chelsea on a free loan at the end of the transfer window.

Ziyech had looked likely to move to Saudi Arabia earlier in the window when a deal for him was agreed but saw that move collapse over issues discovered in his medical.

There’s been little to no mention of him since that point, but it is clear he needs to leave Chelsea before the end of the window, with manager Mauricio Pochettino seemingly not keen and not giving him a squad number for next season.

Özcan now reports that he was recently offered to Besiktas, and it was made clear that if he was to move, he would need a salary of €4.5m minimum.

Whether that’s a price the Turkish side are willing to pay isn’t mentioned but the journalist adds that there is currently a possibility Ziyech will leave Chelsea on a free loan towards the end of the window.

That would suggest the plan at Besiktas is to wait until then and perhaps get an even-better deal, hoping that no other clubs come calling for Ziyech in the interim.
