Inter Milan star Lautaro Martínez has been attracting attention from top clubs across Europe, including some from the Premier League.
According to Calciomercato.it, Chelsea could join Manchester United and Manchester City as the English clubs tussle to sign the forward.
The Europa League winners will be looking to bring in a new striker after the end of the season and Lyon’s Moussa Dembélé is believed to be their first-choice target.
It’s claimed Frank Lampard’s side could offer one of Emerson Palmieri or Marcos Alonso as a part of the deal for Martínez. Inter CEO Giuseppe Marotta was keen on signing the Spaniard in the winter window, but couldn’t get the deal over the line.
Barcelona have long been interested in Martínez and are believed to be in pole position to acquire his services.
If Chelsea want to beat the La Liga winners, they will need to use their negotiating skills to convince Martínez to join them over Barca.
