Bayern Munich have reached a ‘fundamental agreement’ with Chelsea over a loan deal for Callum Hudson-Odoi.

That’s according to Sky Germany, relayed by Fussball Transfers, who say the forward could be presented by the German giants on Monday.

Hudson-Odoi has been linked with a move to the Allianz Arena for the last year, with Bayern pushing hard for him last summer.

That never happened and he ended up staying at Stamford Bridge, where it was believed he would force his way into Frank Lampard’s plans.

Instead, he has found himself out of the picture, with the arrival of Hakim Ziyech only pushing him further down the pecking order.

That has seen the Bayern links re-emerge, although Chelsea have remained insistent that there will be no transfer and he’ll be staying in London.

However, Sky Germany say otherwise and claim there’s now a ‘fundamental agreement’ on a loan deal that will include a ‘purchase commitment’ for next summer.

They do not make the terms of the loan clear, particularly how much the purchase clause has been set at, but they do say that the youngster is ‘planning his departure’ because of a lack of first-team opportunities.

They say that Chelsea continue to deny there is an impending transfer and that he could even start Chelsea’s clash with Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Their information is different, though, and it’s stated there is an ‘official presentation’ planned at Bayern Munich on Monday, which sound intriguing.
