Newcastle United have ‘followed’ Boubacar Kamara for ‘many months’ and are reportedly joined by Manchester United in the chase for the Marseille player.

Chelsea have become the latest club to keep tabs on the midfielder, according to the latest claims from France.

The midfielder is out of contract with the Ligue 1 side at the end of the season and has not agreed to sign a new deal so far.

Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna took to Twitter to report the 22-year-old has decided against leaving the club in the winter market. A possible extension could also be ruled out because his relationship with Marseille president Pablo Longoria is ‘cold’.

When discussing potential suitors, the Blues get a mention and Aouna claims Thomas Tuchel’s side, along with Bayern Munich and Barcelona, have ‘already contacted the agent’ of Kamara for a possible transfer next summer.

That’s about the only information mentioned by Aouna and Kamara will have a few months ahead of him to make a decision on his future.
