Galatasaray manager Fatih Terim is keen to add a defender to his squad this summer and he’s looking to target Arsenal’s Laurent Koscielny, report A Spor.

The Turkish club will participate in the next season’s Champions League after recently being crowned champions, and Terim is looking to bolster his defence by signing the 32 year old French international.

A Spor say when Terim and former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger met in Turkey last week, the Galatasaray manager received information from the Frenchman about the player.

It’s claimed Terim isn’t content with Maicon and that there’s uncertainly over making Jason Denayer’s move from Manchester City permanent. The Belgian defender spent last season on loan with the Turkish champions.

Galatasaray officials will now target Koscielny and the Turkish giants are hoping Arsenal will accept a loan move.

However, The Arsenal defender is currently sidelined after rupturing his Achilles tendon in  and won’t be available for the foreseeable future.

Surely Wenger told Terim that?
