Michel-Ange Balikwisha has been one of the names swirling around the Celtic rumour mill in recent days.
The Scottish Premiership club are looking to make value additions in attack and believe the 23-year-old is a good option.
Currently at Royal Antwerp, on a contract lasting until June 2026, he played 44 matches last season, scoring 10 goals and contributing a further eight assists.
The Celtic target mainly played those matches on the right wing, but he can also operate on the left or through the middle.
Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri now brings an update, and he says Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has managed to have a chat with Balikwisha.
Presumably that was to convince him to move to Celtic Park, and they’re not the only club who could be a possible destination.
According to the same journalist, the player’s camp have been in touch with Stade Rennais to see if the French club have interest in him to replace Martin Terrier.
Terrier has just joined Bayer Leverkusen, so that’s what they’re trying to take advantage of.
