Italian side Como are closing in on a move for Celtic winger Nicolas Kuhn, with a €16.5m agreement now in place with the Scottish champions.

That’s according to Gianluca di Marzio, who report that Como have found an agreement with Brendan Rodgers’ side for the 25-year-old.

Kuhn has been linked with a move away from Celtic this summer after managing 21 goals and 15 assists in all competitions for them last season.

He’s been a big hit since joining in the summer transfer window and that’s earned him plenty of admirers in Europe, including in the Bundesliga.

But it appears that Como are the ones who are closing in on a deal. According to Di Marzio, an agreement has been struck with Celtic for a transfer worth €16.5m. that’s a major profit on the €3.5m that Celtic paid to sign Kuhn from Rapid Vienna a year ago.

There’s no mention of an agreement with the player as yet, but Marzio confidently states that the deal is close being completed and Kuhn will be moving to Italy in the coming weeks as Como continue to spend on Cesc Fabregas’ squad this summer.
