An own goal from Luke Shaw in the first half at Old Trafford was sufficient for Barcelona to not only score a crucial away goal, but seal a narrow 1-0 victory over Manchester United in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final clash.
The return leg will be played at the Camp Nou on Tuesday and in the previous round, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer saw his men overcome a 2-0 deficit to score three times against Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes.
Mundo Deportivo have come up with Barcelona’s predicted XI to face Manchester United for the second leg.
After recovering from injury, Ousmane Dembele started for his side against Huesca at the weekend and the World Cup winner is expected to be part of Barca’s attack along with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.
Marc-André ter Stegen will continue in goal. Gerard Pique, who impressed against his former club last week, will play alongside Clement Lenglet in the back two.
Jordi Alba is expected to start in the left-back position, with Nelson Semedo playing on the right side of the defence. In midfield, Sergio Busquets and Ivan Rakitic are expected to retain their places, along with Arthur.
Mundo’s starting XI includes 10 of the 11 players who started at Old Trafford, with Dembele replacing Philippe Coutinho.
Since winning the Champions League in 2015, Barca have failed to make it to the semi-final of Europe’s elite club competition and would like to change it this season.
