Earlier today, we covered a report from Italy which explained the distance between Burnley and Lazio for a Loum Tchaouna transfer is minimal. That referred to the amount missing to make an agreement get over the line.

Burnley had initially made a loan offer for the 21-year-old winger, which didn’t impress the Serie A club. There was then an attempt to drag PSV into the picture, although that may have been more of a move to put pressure on the newly promoted Premier League club.

This morning, Corriere dello Sport reported Burnley’s fresh offer stood at €13-14m, with Lazio trying to hold out for a €15m transfer fee. Given how close the two sides were it was considered a matter of time before a final agreement was reached.

That’s happened quickly, with Gianluca Di Marzio reporting agreement has been found between Burnley and Lazio. That will see Tchaouna move for €14m, with the Italian club keeping a percentage of profit from a future sale.

Calciomercato are also reporting an agreement between the two clubs, although they put the amount at €14m plus a further €3m in potential bonus payments.
