The brother of Watford summer signing Ken Sema has told the Swedish media the midfielder will be fine at the Premier League club.
Earlier this month Watford signed Sema from Swedish club Östersund.
Speaking to Fotboll Direkt, Maic Sema, a midfielder at GIF Sundsvall, is very positive about his brother’s move to the Premier League: “A cool transfer. He’ll be fine, I’m sure He has worked hard to get there and he’s done good in the initial period there. He has played some friendly matches and was in the team. It will be fun to follow and see if he gets the chances there.”
At the start of this month it was confirmed Sema had signed for Watford on a five year contract after impressing for OFK in the Europa League last season.
The Sweden international was key in the Swedish club making the knockout stages of the competition and the 24 year old scored OFK’s winner against Arsenal at the Emirates. However, OFK were knocked out by the Gunners on aggregate.
Sema became the second Swedish player to arrive at Vicarage Road this summer after Watford signed Pontus Dahlberg in the last window, before loaning the goalkeeper back to IFK Goteborg for the rest of the campaign.
