Brighton and Hove Albion’s transfer business is continuing despite the window now being closed, with a deal for Brøndby’s Clement Bischoff being finalised.

That’s according to Tipsbladet, who report that Brighton have secured the 19-year-old in an €8m deal.

They report that ‘everyone agrees’ on the transfer of the U21 international, who will join Brighton in the summer transfer window.

The two clubs have agreed a deal worth €8m, 60 million kroner, for the left-back, a figure which will see him equal Brøndby’s most expensive sale.

He will sign a five-year deal until 2030 with the Seagulls. He has already agreed on his contract terms with the Premier League side.

The ‘huge deal’ will see Brøndby equal the previous record sale, which was Daniel Agger’s move to Liverpool.

Everything is now ‘pretty much in place’ and the transfer process is now in its final phase, with Brighton and Brøndby now working on the final formalities.

The move is the latest big step for Bischoff, who was promoted to Brøndby’s first team less than a year ago. He’s been developing since then, shining as a left-back in the Superliga.

Brøndby had been trying to extend his current deal, which is set to expire in a year and a half, but it’s now too late and he’ll instead be signing for Brighton in an €8m deal.
