There’s been a lot going on regarding Brighton’s chase for the Leganes striker Youssef En-Nesyri in the past 24 hours.

This morning, we covered claims from Spain saying the La Liga side had rejected two bids from the Seagulls for the player, and a third one would be coming.

It was said that Brighton first tried to get him for €15m, then for €20m, to be paid in two instalments. After having both rejected, the club would try to buy him for €20m paid at once.

Then in the afternoon, it was said En-Nesryi has been left out of Leganes’ friendly. That meant that his move to Brighton was ‘expected’.

Now as reported by Marca, the player has gone on social media to show he’s not happy at this very moment. It all indicates it has something to do with his situation at Leganes.

Marca says that after Brighton failed to agree a deal for him, ‘everything got complicated’. The message doesn’t make it clear if it means he’s being sold or even signing a new deal for the Spanish side.

“When the bigger promotes you and agrees something with you and the little one comes and changes it, it’s like being told to leave with a hint. They will be family things.

It’s sad to feel badly treated by people who have shown me that they care too much about money.”
