Brighton and Hove Albion star Pascal Groß has insisted he knows nothing about rumours linking him with a move to Eintracht Frankfurt but admitted they are a “great, big, traditional club.”

The midfielder has been speaking to various media in Germany as he links up with the German national team for this international break.

Groß has been shining again for Brighton again this season, reaffirming his status as a key player under Roberto de Zerbi.

He’s very much a vital part of the plan under the Italian boss, something which has seemingly not gone unnoticed back in his native Germany.

A report this week stated that Eintracht Frankfurt are potentially eyeing a move for the Brighton man as they continue to look at bolstering their squad.

That report indicated that Groß is a long-term target for the club, who held talks with him in 2022 about a potential move and haven’t stopped watching him in the time since.

It seems, though, that interest is not something the Brighton man is aware of at this point, as he batted away questions on the matter in comments today.

“I don’t know anything about it,” Sport Buzzer report him saying.

“Basically, I follow the Bundesliga very closely. Contact with Germany was never broken. I watch a lot of games.

“Eintracht has done very, very well in recent years – with victory in the Europa League as the highlight. This is a great, big, traditional club.”
