Brighton & Hove Albion and Crystal Palace are in the picture to sign FC Nordsjælland’s Ibrahim Osman in the winter market.
Nordsjælland took the 19-year-old from Ghanian side Right to Dream Academy a year ago and he’s established himself at the Danish club this season, managing four goals and five assists from 29 games.
According to Tipsbladet, the winger is of interest to both Brighton and Crystal Palace.
It’s said the Premier League duo have noticed what former Nordsjælland star Mohammed Kudus and other Right to Dream Academy players are doing elsewhere, and it’s convinced them to join the race to sign Osman.
West Ham United are also keen on signing the player and are currently ahead of Roberto De Zerbi’s side and the Eagles. The report points out Crystal Palace shareholder John Textor is well aware of the Danish club’s young talents.
Nordsjælland’s plan has been to retain the Ghanaian beyond the winter market, but the report claims they could consider selling him, as long as their demands are met.
Tipsbladet state the Danish club want 15m kroner [€20m] excluding bonuses and also a ‘solid percentage’ of a fee from Osman’s future sale.
If Brighton or Crystal Palace are willing to invest €20m, they have a good chance.
