Brentford, Crystal Palace and Brighton & Hove Albion are all keen on signing FC Metz’s Cheikh Sabaly for this summer.

That’s according to Africa Foot, who mention Crystal Palace and Brighton when reporting on Brentford’s plans for the forward.

The Senegal international played a key role in helping the French club secure promotion to the top flight, scoring 15 goals and registering three assists from 33 league games.

Brentford, Crystal Palace and Brighton are all ‘hot’ for the 26-year-old, who scored for his national team in their 3-1 friendly win over England at Nottingham Forest’s stadium earlier this week.

Sabaly’s performance seems to have pleased the Premier League trio, who are looking at him to improve their attack next season. He can operate across the front three.

Bryan Mbeumo’s future could be away from Brentford and faced with the possibility of losing him, the Bees are looking at the Metz attacker.

Africa Foot state Brentford are willing to pay the required fee, without mentioning figures, and offer him a four-year contract. They further add negotiations are open between the two parties.

Taking Brentford’s plan into account, both Crystal Palace and Brighton have to step up to secure his services

Sabaly’s contract is until 2026 and is expected to leave Metz this summer.
