Brentford and AFC Bournemouth are chasing Beşiktaş’ Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain this summer.

That’s according to Sports Digitale, and they took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share an update provided by journalist Sercan Dikme.

He claims Brentford and Bournemouth want to sign the 30-year-old this summer.

The Englishman spent 13 years in England with Southampton, Arsenal and Liverpool. He left the Reds as a free agent at the end of the 2022/23 season, and the Black Eagles took him in August 2023 on a three-year deal.

A thigh injury forced him to spend close to 100 days between last December and March on the sidelines. This restricted him to make 30 appearances in all competitions for the Istanbul club.

The journalist says the midfielder will return to the Premier League in this window, with both Brentford and Bournemouth as his contenders.

Beşiktaş manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst seems to have left Oxlade-Chamberlain out of his plans as Dikme states talks between the player and the Turkish club to terminate his contract have been positive.

If Beşiktaş were to terminate Oxlade-Chamberlain’s contract, Brentford and Bournemouth could sign him for free.
