It’s no secret Crystal Palace share owner John Textor loves creating a relationship between the clubs he’s been working on.
The businessman’s latest move is now reported by the Brazilian media, where he became a celebrity since the takeover Botafogo, as Globo Esporte shares an interesting story.
It all started today with club star Matheus Nascimento today sharing a picture in London. That took many fans by surprise, not only because he may miss out on the weekend’s game, but also because that could be related to a transfer.
The youngster has been linked to a move out of Botafogo this summer, as reports even claimed that Nottingham Forest placed a bid for him.
It turns out, however, that Nascimento just travelled to London to watch tomorrow’s friendly between Crystal Palace and Lyon.
It’s claimed that in the player’s contract with Botafogo, that trip was agreed. He’s set to stay in Europe between the 4th and 9th of August.
It’s also said that Nascimento will get to know the facilities of clubs from Eagle Football Holding, which are Crystal Palace and Lyon.
The striker has been showing some great potential in Brazil lately, and those strings pulled by John Textor maybe put his clubs ahead in the race for his signing in the future.
