The betting charges against Lucas Paquetá don’t seem to have changed much in the life of the West Ham United star for now.
As the Brazilian media covers the case, they point out that his summer schedule continues as planned.
UOL reports that the West Ham player is currently in Rio de Janeiro, where on Tuesday evening he went to the Maracanã Stadium to watch Flamengo’s match against Millonarios in the Copa Libertadores.
Paquetá was with his wife, taking pictures with fans and meeting the Brazilian club’s ex-president, Mauricio Gomes de Mattos.
That story led to another one, with UOL claiming that the national team is keeping the midfielder in the Copa America squad.
It’s said that if there was any possibility they’d leave him out of the list, that would have already been done. Paquetá is expected in Orlando on Thursday, and the CBF will not make any official statements about his situation.
The West Ham midfielder is expected to be a starter in Dorival Junior’s team, while he waits for the judgment on his case.
