Bournemouth star Justin Kluivert has praised the club’s transfer planning, insisting it’s played it’s part perfectly in their impressive first season under Andoni Iraola.
The forward has been speaking to Tubantia in the Netherlands, where he was full of praise for the club and their ambitious owners.
Bournemouth currently sit tenth in the Premier League with 48 points from 35 games, a tally that already means they’ve beaten their best ever in the top flight.
They’ve rallied back unbelievably from a rough start to life under Iraola, with the form table since the end of last year putting them just behind the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City.
Instead, the club’s owners wanted something different and brought in the Spaniard before undertaking a busy summer of transfers that saw them spending €127m on incoming signings.
And Kluivert believes they deserve praise for that, insisting the transfer strategy showed their ambitions and they’ve been rewarded since.
“What you see with us is that everything fits together very well,” he said.
“The coach is very good, and I think the club has also carefully selected which players should stay and which players should be recruited.
“This also reflects the vision and ambition of the owners. That gives everyone here a very good feeling.”
