Last month, TuttoMercatoWeb stated Juventus are in the mix to sign Mario Hermoso and that they are aware of Aston Villa’s interest in the Atlético Madrid player.
On March 11th, Calciomerctao said Aston Villa are leading the race for the defender, who’s current deal lasts until the end of this season. Four days later, Tutto Juve reported Unai Emery’s side intend to enter into the negotiations with the 28-year-old.
The Premier League side seem to have taken this step if a report from Sport Mediaset is to be believed.
It’s claimed the centre-back is ‘set to say goodbye’ to Diego Simeone’s side at the end of this season. His contract situation with the La Liga club has seen the Old Lady and Inter Milan show interest in securing his services for free in the summer.
The Serie A duo have to ‘beware of Aston Villa’ as they pose a danger to them in the race for Los Rojiblancos player. That’s because the Villans have already made a contract offer until 2028 to Hermoso.
Sport Mediaset haven’t provided information on the salary proposed by Aston Villa or if Hermoso is willing to accept their offer.
