Trabzonspor striker Caleb Ekuban has been impressing at the Turkish side’s winter training camp in Antalya report Haber61.

The 24 year old is currently on loan with Trabzonspor from Leeds United and the Super Lig side can make his move permanent in the summer.

It’s reported Ekuban is becoming a key player at the club and it’ll be no surprise if he replaces Hugo Rodallega in the starting eleven.

After scoring two goals and assisting one in a friendly against Ado Den, the Leeds United loanee has spoken to the media about his future as covered by Haber61: “This is the best decision I’ve ever made (joining Trabzonspor). I am currently on loan, but I want to continue at Trabzonspor. The club also want to keep me beyond this season. I want to stay, and I’m targeting that.”

After a slow start, Ekuban has started to deliver at the Senol Gunes Stadium, scoring two goals and providing an assist in his last four Super Lig games.

Trabzonspor can sign the forward outright in the summer for a fee believed to be in the region of €1m. However, the Trabzon club are hoping Leeds United will reduce the transfer fee and are looking to negotiate with the Championship club.
