Earlier today, we covered a report from Brazil claiming Flamengo are back on chasing Nottingham Forest midfielder Gustavo Scarpa.
The red and black club are then joining the likes of Vasco da Gama, Internacional and Atlético Mineiro in the race for the player.
As journalist Jorge Nicola now shows up to talk about the situation, he makes some interesting claims about the Nottingham Forest player, who’s on loan at Olympiakos.
Most reports have been claiming that Scarpa isn’t accepting those offers because he wants to insist on succeeding in Europe, and wants to stay there until the end of the season.
Nicola, however, claims it’s clear for him that the midfielder is actually making ‘an auction’ for a January move.
The player is believed not to be waiting for the best financial offer, but also for the best project he’ll see on the table in the coming weeks.
It’s been many times claimed that Nottingham Forest would have no problems negotiating his sale in January, so it’s all up to him to take one of those bids.
