Earlier on Friday, we covered an article from Corriere dello Sport looking at Juventus’ interest in Arsenal’s Thomas Partey.
The Ghana international looks to be on his way out the Emirates with the club going after Declan Rice, and the Turin side are eyeing him up if they lose Adrien Rabiot.
It was stated that Juventus had made an offer of €18m for the Arsenal midfielder, but Massimo Marianella, speaking to Sky Calciomercato, relayed by Tutto Juve, makes it clear that won’t be enough.
This is a problem for the Serie A side, who aren’t currently swimming in money, and Rabiot’s exit, if it takes place, would not bring them any extra capital.
That’s why they can’t go to the moon and beyond for the Arsenal man, which is a big problem according to Marianella.
He said: “Partey is a player of experience, of physicality. Going to Arsenal, he improved compared to Atlético Madrid. He improved in terms of football, shooting on goal. He is very good in coverage. I think Arsenal will definitely sell him, but won’t give him away for less than €20m.”
The 30-year-old arrived at Arsenal three years ago for a fee of €50m, and has two years left on his contract after making 99 appearances for the Gunners, scoring five goals and assisting another four.
