In case you were wondering who will be playing for Atlético Madrid against Liverpool on Wednesday evening in the Champions League, Marca have you covered.
According to the Spanish outlet, Diego Simeone has already told his players who will be in the starting line up to face Jürgen Klopp’s men, and there’s been a bit of a ‘surprise’.
The unexpected man in the line up is Diego Costa, who will lead the attack next to João Félix.
They will be backed up by the ‘unnegotiable’ trio of Koke, Saúl and Thomas Partey, and will be joined by Ángel Correa to make it a four man midfield.

At the back, the men in charge of stopping the likes of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mané will be a defence of Kieran Trippier on the right, Renan Lodi down the left and a centre-back pairing of Stefan Savić and Felipe.
Unsurprisingly, the man in goal will be Jan Oblak.
The seems like a standard 4-4-2 from Simeone, and with a 1-0 lead to defend, we can expect them to sit relatively deep and for Diego Costa to act as the battering ram up front to disrupt the Liverpool defence as best he can in order to allow Félix the space he needs to be dangerous.
An interesting match up ahead, and now it will be up to Klopp to find a way of breaking what we know can be a tough team to get through on their day.
