Napoli star Kim Min-jae has refused to discuss his future amid repeated reports linking him with a move to Manchester United in the summer.
The centre-back, who was a vital part of the Naples club’s title winning season, appeared on South Korean channel, tvN, where he was asked about future and his comments are relayed by Il Mattino.
“My agent is outside, ask him directly,” he joked.
The South Korean international has a release clause in his contract valid between July 1st and July 15th. According to Il Mattino, Erik ten Hag’s side are keen to take him ‘as early as possible’ in the summer.
Last weekend, the same outlet explained the 26-year-old has an agreement in place with the Red Devils and the deal to take him to Old Trafford is ‘practically done’. Manchester United are now waiting until July to activate his clause.
On Thursday, Corriere dello Sport stated Min-jae is waiting to seal a move to the Premier League side. Napoli, for their part, have accepted the defender will leave in the next window and have already lined up potential candidates to replace him.
