AS Monaco and Ipswich Town are among the clubs in the picture to sign Sheffield United’s Ryan Oné.
That’s according to L’Equipe, who state the Ligue 1 side are monitoring the 18-year-old’s situation. Ipswich Town, for their part, also appreciate his profile.
Oné joined Sheffield United from Scottish Championship side Hamilton Academical in 2023 and signed a contract until 2029.
The youngster made one appearance for the Blades last season and has played 12 games this season, which includes only two starts. He’s scored only one goal for Chris Wilder’s side.
Even though the Scotland U19 international hasn’t been given regular opportunities at Sheffield United, he continues to receive interest from elsewhere.
L’Equipe explain Monaco are a ‘part of a small group’ of clubs across Europe interested in the striker. They are looking at youngsters with ‘high potential’ and this has led them to set their eyes on Oné.
As well as Monaco, Ipswich Town, Juventus and Red Bull Salzburg are also looking at the Sheffield United player. With regards to Kieran McKenna’s side, the report states they are ‘close to drawing an offer’.
It looks like Ipswich Town are looking to get ahead of the competition to snatch Oné from the Championship side in the winter market.
