Juventus’ Dušan Vlahović has again been linked with a move to Arsenal in the winter market.
Last week, Tuttosport reported Mikel Arteta is the striker’s ‘long-standing admirer’ and the Serie A side don’t rule out his sale this month, as long as there’s an offer of at least €60m.
TV Play state Arsenal, and in particular their manager, have ‘never hidden their respect’ for the 23-year-old.
The Gunners tried signing him before he joined the Turin club two years ago, and could make another attempt this month.
Arsenal seem to be in the market for an attacker in January and the report states there’s a ‘very concrete hypothesis’ on the table to make an approach for Vlahović.
It’s claimed the north London club’s proposal would include ‘a rich cash settlement’ and also their own player, Charlie Patino, who is currently on loan at Swansea City. He can be a medium/long term investment for the Old Lady, if they were to secure his services.
The Serbia international has managed seven goals and two assists from 18 games. TV Play state his future could be away from Juventus, due to his mixed performances this season and not having a good feeling with Massimiliano Allegri.
TV Play make no mention of the fee Arsenal could offer to sign the former Fiorentina man.
Patino is a target for Juve and Tuttosport explain that their scouts made a ‘blitz’ to Wales, to monitor the 20-year-old for Swansea City against Morecambe in the FA Cup.
