Arsenal are keen on signing Club Brugge youngster Maxim de Cuyper but are likely to face competition from West Ham and AC Milan.
TuttoSport today, as relayed by PianetaMilan, have reported on the situation of the 24-year-old left-back and they reveal that Milan are ready to get serious for De Cuyper.
Someone from the Rossoneri’s management has met with the full-back’s entourage but the race is far from over.
Arsenal are quite keen on the Belgian too and are expected to take their interest forward by speaking to the player’s entourage later this week. They are looking to fend off competition from Milan, with West Ham also an interested party.
It is Arsenal who seem ahead of the Hammers, with Mikel Arteta’s side said to be relying on contact with the entourage to progress their move.
West Ham are yet to make any contact, and Club Brugge currently want a fee of €25m to sell De Cuyper, who has played 38 times in all competitions and has one goal and six assists this season.
The feeling right now is that the Belgian club’s asking price could favour a Premier League more than a Serie A side.
