According to a claim in the Turkish media, Arsenal have tabled an offer for Fenerbahce left back Ferdi Kadıoğlu.
The 24-year-old impressed for the Super Lig side last season, bringing him to the attention of the likes of Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund.
Ajan Spor today report Arsenal have offered Fenerbahce €20m to sign Kadıoğlu ahead of next months transfer window. The Turkey international has reportedly been on the Gunners’ agenda in recent months as they look to bring in reinforcements.
Borussia Dortmund have also come in with a bid of €25m say Ajan Spor and are hoping Nuri Şahin could be instrumental in getting a deal done for the German side.
However, it’s claimed Fenerbahce have rejected offers from both clubs, and they’ve been instructed by the Turkish club’s president, Ali Koç, that he wants €35m plus for the player.
It’s also reported Kadıoğlu has had offers from Saudi based clubs, but at this stage of his career the defender isn’t keen on such a move.
Kadıoğlu made 40 appearances for the Yellow Canaries last season, scoring 3 goals. He’s contracted to the club until June 2022.
