With four goals and two assists in his last four Premier League games, Kai Havertz is finally like the player Arsenal were hoping he was when they spent a lot of money on him.
The German had struggled to live up to his transfer fee when he first arrived at the Emirates, but something has clicked in the last few games, with him now the star of the show for the Gunners.
This form at Arsenal, and his previous purple patches, have failed to be replicated at international level, however, and that’s why TZ wonder whether he will ever do it for Germany.
They look at the player’s past, and explain that he has everything a striker could ask for and is what their national team needs.
In fact, becoming a star for his country is something Havertz himself wants, as TZ have information that the forward ‘has a great desire to finally show’ what he can really do in the DFB jersey.
His ability to head the ball, hold up play and set up partners are ‘everything an attacker needs’, but no manager for Germany has been able to get the most out of him.
Now, with him finding the right balance at Arsenal, there’s hope he can have a chat with Julian Nagelsmann and try and do something similar at international level.
TZ just hope that he manages to do it at the Euros.
