Fresh off their failure to convince Yacine Adli to sign for them over a stay at Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal aren’t quite done trying to lure young French talent to the Emirates.
According to RMC Sport in France, both the Gunners and Manchester City are attempting to sign AS Monaco’s young forward, Nabil Alioui.
The winger is currently displaying his talent for France at the U19 Euros in Finland, where he has featured twice, scoring two goals in a 5-0 win over England’s U19s.
Yet to sign his first contract with the principality club, the 19-year-old has received letters of interest from multiple clubs, including Arsenal and Pep Guardiola’s side, as well as Fulham.
Currently with his national team, the forward could, however, visit the Gunners’ infrastructures next week, but Manchester City do have an ace up their sleeve.
His name is Patrick De Koste, who also advises a certain Kevin De Bruyne, and the Cityzens are hoping their good relationship with the Belgium international’s agent could help swing the transfer in their favour.
One to keep an eye on.
