It’s been a while since the attitude of Arsenal loanee Nuno Tavares started becoming a problem at Olympique Marseille.
This month, we’ve already seen the French media claiming the 23-year-old ‘still annoys’ the staff with his behaviour, as that hasn’t improved since his arrival at the Ligue 1 side.
It turns out that L’Equipe features another short story on that today, claiming that Tavares’ attitude should lead him to return to Arsenal this summer.
It’s now said that the fullback is the author of ‘unkind remarks’ towards manager Igor Tudor during training sessions.
That’s one of the reasons why Tavares is losing his place in the team, and is now only their second option for the left-back position.
L’Equipe then points out that since he’s at Marseille on a ‘dry’ loan from Arsenal, that situation should remain like that, with him returning to London at the end of the spell.
Tavares’ performances for the French club have been criticised since last year. Last month, the local media had already said he ‘doesn’t seem bothered‘ in his performances for the Ligue 1 club.
