Arsenal have been dragged into the Federico Chiesa situation, which means at this stage it may not be untrue to say half the Premier League have been linked with the Juventus attacker.

There’s been a lot of talk about Tottenham in recent days, and SportMediaSet, via Calciomercato, report that whilst Ange Postecoglou’s side, and Chelsea for that matter, have made contact there’s been no effort to enter negotiations from either of them.

According to the report, Arsenal have ‘made a new survey’, which will means they’ve got back in contact to find out the conditions of a deal.

Chiesa has left than a year left on his contract which is creating some panic at the Turin club. They don’t want to lose him for free next year and were hoping to get €20-25m from his sale this summer.

Despite that being less than his market value they’re just trying to get what they can and may be forced to go lower.

The player himself isn’t being rushed at all and is quite calm about his situation. That may be why no clubs are rushing to convert their interest into anything more serious at this stage.

In addition to that, the longer this all goes on the more pressure Juventus will be under to reduce the price further.
