Arsenal and Liverpool are both interested in Bayern Munich fullback Joshua Kimmich, according to claims from Germany.
Sky Deutschland reveals that there’s a real possibility the player may leave the Bundesliga giants this summer, as he’s unlikely to extend his contract.
Since his deal expires next year, the possibility of a departure becomes bigger, especially because Bayern Munich bosses are open to selling him.
The list of interested sides includes the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester City.
Sky reports that Kimmich himself would have no problems in staying at Bayern Munich for another year, opening the possibility of moving as a free agent in 2025, but that’s exactly what the club are trying to avoid.
They know they can make a decent amount with his sale, even though the report doesn’t say how much they’d demand. Further talks are expected after the Euros.
Kimmich is currently valued by Transfermarkt at €50m, but this whole situation is something that Arsenal and Liverpool could certainly play with to get him signed for a better price.
