Arsenal have joined the growing list of suitors for Udinese defender Rodrigo Becao, with the Brazilian defender’s future very much up in the air.

That’s according to Tuttomercatoweb, who throw the Gunners into the mix today as clubs seemingly line up to secure his signature.

They explain that Udinese are still pushing for Becao to sign a new deal at the club, with his current contract expiring in 2024 and that causing concerns.

The Italian side are aware that the next two windows could be the last for them to make money on a player who has been impressing over the last few seasons.

Those qualities have not gone unnoticed and after talk of Premier League interest in the summer, the ‘market widens further’ ahead of January.

Arsenal are one of those to have joined the queue, with it said that they are ‘holding out on him’ now that they are ‘back in the big time’.

At the moment there is confidence at Udinese that they can get a new deal signed, one that would guarantee a good transfer fee ‘in case the right offer arrives’ for him from one of the Premier League sides.

However, the next few weeks are to be ‘followed with attention’ as Arsenal have now joined the race ahead of the January transfer window.
