On April 13th, SportBild stated Arsenal are one of the ‘favourites’ to sign Moussa Diaby in the summer.
Earlier claims from France have also stated the Gunners have shown interest in the Bayer Leverkusen star and will have to battle with PSG for his signature.
Le10 Sport have relayed this and then state they can confirm Arsenal wanting to secure the winger’s services. However, they have found out the Ligue 1 side are not in the mix for him.
The France international has a deal until 2025 and will have to ‘make a crucial decision’ about his future.
After receiving interest from Arsenal, he must decide if he wants to continue with the German club for one more season or move to the Premier League.
It’s claimed Leverkusen ‘will not oppose’ his sale because they believe the next window will be their last big opportunity to ‘get a good price’ for the 23-year-old. This should please Mikel Arteta’s side.
If Leverkusen don’t receive a satisfactory offer, they would then open talks for a new deal with Diaby. Le10 Sport doesn’t specify or mention what is deemed as a ‘good price’ by the Bundesliga side.
Diaby has managed 14 goals and 10 assists from 41 games this season.
