Arsenal have been linked with Youri Tielemans for years.
There’s been stories from all over Europe, never anything hugely concrete, just the usual rumour mill claims, but Arsenal may well be getting more serious.
Several times over the last year they’ve sent officials to watch Tielemans play for Anderlecht, and club dedicated website PurpleSpirit says they were there again last week for the match against Gabala.
The website reckons Arsenal and other clubs there will have been watching Youri Tielemans and Leander Dendoncker, but the latter stayed on the bench.
Tielemans started the game but received an injury which will rule him out for a few weeks, maybe fitting giving Arsenal had someone at the game.
