As Arsenal and Chelsea are once again linked to Porto winger Pepê, the Portuguese media is very clear about the player’s price tag.
It’s newspaper A Bola who features a long story about the 25-year-old’s situation, claiming he’s been taking the protagonist role since the departure of Luis Diaz to the Premier League.
The outlet then recalls that when watched by European giants, Pepê left Arsenal and Chelsea ‘with their mouths open’, with technical chiefs of Gunners and Blues aware of the positive reports.
Only then, A Bola addresses new interest from Juventus, who reportedly placed Pepê on their wish list. And the message to all those clubs is clear, as the player is only leaving Porto for his €75m release clause.
The Dragons have a clear idea of how important the Brazilian is for them, and simply don’t plan to negotiate his departure anytime soon.
Arsenal and Chelsea interest in Pepê has been reported by the Portuguese media for a while now, and with Juventus now joining the race, that could probably speed up the winger’s departure from Porto.
