On June 17th, we carried a report from Sport Mediaset, who stated that Inter Milan have ‘enquired’ about Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus.

It was also explained a potential transfer will depend on whether or not the Nerazzurri can spend €70m on signing the centre forward.

FcInterNews contacted the 23-year-old’s agent, Cristiano Simões, on Wednesday.

Regarding the rumoured from interest from the Serie A side, the representative said: “Look, no phone call came to me. Nobody contacted me.”

When further quizzed if the Brazilian can leave the Etihad this summer, Simões explained: “Well, nowadays anything is possible.”

Even though the agent hasn’t shut the door on his client leaving the Citizens, a move to the San Siro is not considered at the moment.

Simões has detailed the reason.

“Again, no one has called me for now. Nor did something interesting come for a negotiation. At the moment…” he stressed.

UEFA have handed City a two-year ban from European competitions and Pep Guardiola’s side have appealed the ban at the Court of Arbitration for Sport. They are now waiting for the verdict.

Simões suggested that Champions League football isn’t a “so fundamental” for Jesus to continue with the English side.
