Beto played less than ten minutes for Everton in their loss to Bournemouth at the weekend.
This came after appearances off the bench against Chelsea and Nottingham Forest, with the player having started only once in the Premier League this season.
It now seems that after weeks of speculation, the Portuguese striker’s time at Everton may be coming to an end.
TuttoSport report today that the 26-year-old was spotted at Manchester airport yesterday evening and the outlet have confirmed that despite many flights from Manchester being cancelled due to the snow, the striker arrived in Turin soon enough.
That is because Torino are very close to sealing their move for him and an agreement with Everton is ‘about to be reached’.
The Serie A side want to close the deal on an initial loan that will have a ‘burdensome’ fee and an obligation to buy of €15m, if certain conditions are met.
Atalanta have withdrawn from the chase and the Turin newspaper believes Beto will stay in the city for a few more days, with Torino looking to seal the move quickly.
