When he arrived from Paris Saint-Germain in 2022, Thilo Kehrer looked as if he was going to have a long-term future at West Ham United.
However, reality has been very different for the Germany international, who has fallen out of favour at the London Stadium under David Moyes.
So much so, in fact, that clubs are eyeing up a deal for the West Ham defender, as explained by Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg.
Taking to X, the journalist explains the centre-back, who can also play down the right, is ‘open to leave’ the Hammers in the coming weeks because he is not playing in the Premier League.
It’s added that ‘many clubs have enquired about him’, and those around him are ‘sounding out the market’ for their client ahead of January.
Of those who have replied, Eintracht Frankfurt are ‘very interested’.
That being said, he is also not the only player they are looking at to bolster their defence, but Kehrer is in ‘top shape’ and his ‘ready to play’, which makes him all the more attractive.
The player’s contract at West Ham is valid until 2026, meaning there is room for the Hammers to negotiate after spending €12m on him just over a year ago.
