The Argentina international has returned to the north London club after spending the past 18 months on loan at Villarreal. He’s now looking for a way out before the window closes on Friday.
That’s according to today’s Mundo Deportivo, who state he ‘wants to leave’ Tottenham after amounting only 16 minutes this season.
The report explains that the 27-year-old’s agent has already held a meeting with Spurs to try to resolve his client’s situation.
Ange Postecoglou’s side have informed Lo Celso’s agent that they aren’t willing to sanction another loan move and a permanent sale is the ‘only option’ to leave the north London club.
