AC Milan have been offered a chance to sign Tottenham Hotspur’s Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in the summer, according to Calciomercato.
Last summer, the Serie A side signed Christian Pulisic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek from Chelsea and the duo have relaunched their careers at the San Siro.
This seems to have convinced the Rossoneri to look at the Premier League again in the next window, and the Tottenham midfielder may be an option for them.
Hojbjerg is represented by Unique Sports Group, whose client lists includes Milan’s Malick Thiaw and their summer target, Maxence Lacroix, who’s currently at VfL Wolfsburg.
It’s said the agency has proposed the Denmark international to Stefano Pioli’s side. The 28-year-old’s deal at the north London club lasts until 2025, but he’s leaving them after this season.
Calciomercato state a fee of around €20m is needed to take the former Southampton man away from Tottenham. They add this track isn’t ‘particularly hot’ for the Italian club as they are looking at other options for the midfield, especially AS Monaco’s Youssouf Fofana.
Hojbjerg has been restricted to only six league starts this season and has already made it clear that he’s unhappy with the limited game time under Ange Postecoglou.
