Vitor Roque’s agent will travel to Barcelona to discuss his client, with Tottenham waiting in the wings to try and sign the striker.
That’s according to AS, who again reiterate that Tottenham are looking to get the Brazilian if he decides to leave Barcelona this summer.
A report earlier this week explained that Roque’s situation is about to become a volcano that will explode as he and his entourage aren’t happy with the minutes he’s been receiving since he arrived in January.
That report made it clear that the player had already received around 30 proposals ahead of the summer, with Tottenham among them and knocking on the door for a player who they had targeted in the past.
AS continue to insist on that today, reporting that Vitor Roque’s agent André Cury will travel to Barcelona to speak with the club about the striker’s situation.
Barcelona are testing the option of sending him out on loan, but Cury is insistent that his idea is to continue at the Camp Nou or, in the worst case, find a permanent move.
That could lead to a tug-of-war and several teams will try to make a move happen if the latter situation does come to pass.
Tottenham are seen as ahead of the pack on that front, with it explained that while other clubs have only made enquiries, Spurs and Napoli are the two sides to have ‘once again knocked on the striker’s door’.
Now, we will reiterate this is exactly what has been stated previously but the belief is that Tottenham may be more serious than others and with Cury now on his way to Barcelona, things could be about to pick up pace.
