Dusan Vlahovic’s agent travelling to Turin has been seen as a hint that Arsenal could swoop for him this month.
That’s according to Tuttosport, who say Juventus would be open to a sale for the right price this month.
The newspaper reports that Arsenal need to get a striker this month. That could lead them to ‘rekindle’ their interest in Vlahovic.
The Serbian striker has been in Mikel Arteta’s sights since his transfer to Juventus in January 2022. He’s seen as an easier target than Viktor Gyökeres or Alexander Isak.
Juventus director of football Cristiano Giuntoli would be open to selling the striker too. That would be dependent on an ‘important offer’ being made for him.
That’s because the striker’s current deal expires in 2026, and discussions are ongoing regarding a renewal.
A ‘possible clue’ that something may be going on behind the scenes has come from Vlahovic’s agent Darko Ristic.
He shared a photo on his Instagram profile, accompanied by Vlahovic in Turin. This has been seen as a hint given the ‘strong interest’ of Arsenal and the insistent rumours about them.
Whether he’s in Turin to speak to Juventus, his client, or both, is up for interpretation. In Italy at least, they’re considering a big hint that something’s going on and there may be movement this month.
