Sporting have reportedly reached an agreement to sign Sandro from Queens Park Rangers. The deal was sealed last Saturday, according to Diário de Notícias.
Several Portuguese newspapers have reported the presence of Sandro’s agent Luiz Paulo Chignall in Lisbon this weekend, as he was finalising the midfielder’s move to Sporting.
Diário de Notícias says the Portuguese side will pay QPR €2m for the transfer of the 27-year-old. Sandro will sign a contract until 2020, once he returns from honeymoon.
Sandro signed for Tottenham from Internacional in 2010 and ended up staying in England for six years.
He was transferred to QPR in 2014, and after the R’s relegation, he spent the last season on loan at West Bromwich, who have chosen not to use their buying option over him.
