Juan Cuadrado could be on the verge of returning to Juventus for another loan spell, according to reports in Italy. Yesterday, Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio reported Juventus have offered a loan fee of €3m-€4m for Cuadrado, but there would be no option to buy the player.
Chelsea were expected to respond soon, and his agent Alessandro Lucci has admitted he is flying to London today to try and seal the deal. “It’s not an easy. However, I’ll fly to London tomorrow to try and unblock it,” he told SportItalia (via TMW).
It was earlier reported Antonio Conte is a big fan of the Colombian international and wants to keep him at Chelsea, but the player was left out of Chelsea’s match day squad against West Ham on Monday.
Cuadrado is keen on returning to Juventus, who can also offer him Champions League football. The 28 year old made his name in Serie A with Fiorentina, and was also successful when he returned to Italy on loan last season.
