Napoli star Hirving Lozano could end up at Everton or Manchester United next summer, should he leave Napoli.
That’s according to agent and intermediary Alessandro Monfrecola, who believes the Mexican will end up in the Premier League next summer.
Lozano has long been linked with a move to England, first during his time at PSV Eindhoven and regularly since joining Napoli.
Everton were once among his biggest suitors, particularly when Carlo Ancelotti was manager, with it explained that he would love a reunion with the player, who he worked alongside at Napoli.
Manchester United have been brought into the picture more recently, with claims that they are looking at Lozano amid Erik ten Hag’s continued efforts to improve their forward line.
Those rumours come about amid a slow start to the campaign for Lozano, who has struggled to establish himself in a Napoli side that is flourishing in Serie A and the Champions League.
Monfrecola can certainly see a move happening next summer, when he believes it will be time for the Mexico international to move to pastures new.
“Next June, Lozano will leave in my opinion, also because he earns over 4 million at Napoli,” he told Gonfia la Rete report him saying.
“Although he is delighted to be here, he has never hidden that he aspired to the top English clubs, although now he is probably realising that Napoli itself is a top club.
“He has never hidden that he loves Barcelona and Real Madrid, but unless Ancelotti falls in love with him again, he has no market.
“I think he could land in Manchester United or Everton. This does not exclude that other English teams could enter the negotiation.
“My personal prediction is that he will leave in June, but he is very happy here.”
