Last week, we covered a couple of reports from the Brazilian media which claimed that Lucas Moura is set to leave Tottenham Hotspur at the end of the season.
It was said that with his contract possibly expiring in the summer, he’s set to walk for free.
That’s big news in the South American country because his former club São Paulo are attentive to the situation, and his comeback to the Tricolor is seen as a very possible scenario.
Now it turns out that even though the season the barely started, Lucas Moura’s future is already being discussed at Tottenham.
That’s according to journalist Jorge Nicola, who on Friday evening, published a video about the situation.
He claimed that the attacker’s agent Junior Pedroso scheduled a meeting with Spurs in London to speak about the player.
There they’ll discuss whether the attacker will stay in Europe for longer or return to Brazil soon.
It’s claimed that it’s ‘nearly impossible’ the 30-year-old leave the club before June, but then even a return to Brazil is possible in the summer.
Moura only has 12 minutes played in the Premier League this season, and missed Tottenham’s past couple of games due to an injury.
