Adrien Rabiot’s links with the Premier League have always been in place and there is never a better time for them to resurface than when he is a free agent.
La Gazzetta dello Sport have looked at why Rabiot is without a club yet and have explored what he can offer to his next team. The report mentions his strengths as a player, but also goes on to talk about his potential destination.
It is mentioned that playing in the Premier League would be ‘icing on the cake’ for the midfielder, whose mother-agent Veronique recently revealed to Gazzetta that she is speaking to some clubs.
The outlet mentions that while Veronique didn’t herself mention the clubs that contacted her, they reveal that Arsenal are most definitely an interested party. That is perhaps some off-record information that they received from the agent.
Along with Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool are also suggested as an opportunity and so are Chelsea. All of this is said to have been confirmed by the agent.
Interest from Real Madrid, it is reported, has gone away because of the player’s hefty wage demands.
Arsenal haven’t made their move yet but it does seem as if Gazzetta are a bit of a Rabiot interest generating machine, as they constantly push the narrative of Premier League interest.
